Needs Analysis Workshop for Product Safety in E-Commerce
Doruksistem A.Ş. and its group company DorukWell participated in the Needs Analysis Workshop held in Ankara between 18–20 June 2025 under the EU-funded project “Technical Assistance for Product Safety in E-Commerce.”
This three-day workshop brought together key stakeholders to assess the current landscape, identify sectoral needs, and contribute to the development of a strategic roadmap for product safety in Türkiye’s e-commerce ecosystem.
Day 1 – Kick-off and Core Discussions
The first day focused on evaluating the current state and key challenges in product safety within e-commerce.
Main discussion topics included:
- Regulatory frameworks and sector-specific needs
- Risk assessment methodologies and digital IT tools
- Institutional, structural, and human capacity development needs
Doruksistem A.Ş. and DorukWell actively contributed by sharing their expertise in regulatory compliance and digital transformation.
💡 Preparations were also made to introduce our digital solution UseSafe – Digital Product Certification and Traceability System.
Day 2 – Needs Analysis and Prioritization (19 June 2025)
The second day continued with in-depth discussions and group-based evaluations.
Morning Session
Working groups presented findings on:
- Legal and regulatory framework
- IT tools and risk analysis
- Institutional structures, human resources, and collaboration models
Each group shared valuable insights and recommendations.
Afternoon Session
- A prioritization voting process was conducted
- Short, medium, and long-term needs were identified
Notably, Mehmet Mücahit Arvas, LL.M (UK), Ph.D provided valuable insights during the closing session, bridging field experience with policy development.
Legal requirements, national regulations, and EU alignment remained central themes throughout the day.
Day 3 – Strategic Evaluation and Closing (20 June 2025)
The final day focused on strategic planning and future actions.
Morning Session (09:30 – 12:30)
Final presentations were delivered covering:
- Legal and regulatory framework
- IT infrastructure and risk analysis tools
- Institutional needs and cooperation models
These outputs formed the analytical basis for the final report and policy development.
Afternoon Session (14:00 – 17:00)
- Needs were prioritized as short, medium, and long-term
- A joint strategy and action plan were developed
