Preparing for the European Green Deal with Sustainability and Compliance Services
As part of our sustainability and compliance services, Doruksistem AS and our Europe-based sister company DorukWell GmbH provide expert support to businesses that want to comply with the new generation of regulations introduced under the European Green Deal. Our aim is to make your transition to sustainable business models easier by turning complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable steps.
Legislation on the circular economy, the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), the Digital Product Passport (DPP), the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) directly affects manufacturers and exporters selling products on the EU market. With our technical expertise and experience in chemical legislation, we stand by you throughout this process.

Our Service Areas
The main solutions we offer as part of our sustainability and compliance services are:
Carbon Footprint Calculation and Reduction
We identify the direct and indirect greenhouse gas emission sources of your business, calculate your carbon footprint in line with internationally recognised methodologies and prepare a reduction roadmap tailored to you.
- Identification of emission sources: production processes, energy use, logistics and the supply chain
- Data collection and emission calculations
- Reduction strategies: energy efficiency, renewable energy, process optimisation and alternative raw materials
- Reporting in line with EU requirements and preparation for independent verification
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
Life cycle assessment (LCA) reveals the environmental impacts of a product at every stage, from raw materials to end of life. We assess the following stages for your products:
- Raw material sourcing: environmental impacts of the raw materials used and sustainable alternatives
- Production: energy efficiency, waste management and emissions
- Distribution and logistics: reducing the impacts of transport and storage
- Use: environmental impacts during consumer use
- End of life: recycling, reuse and disposal options
ESPR Ecodesign Consultancy
The Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (EU) 2024/1781 (ESPR) entered into force on 18 July 2024. The ESPR sets requirements such as durability, reparability, recyclability, recycled content and environmental footprint through delegated acts adopted for specific product groups. The ban on the destruction of unsold apparel and footwear has applied to large enterprises since 19 July 2026.
- Ecodesign strategies: sustainable material selection, energy efficiency, reparability and recyclability
- Modular design: products that are easy to repair, upgrade and disassemble
- Performance analysis: assessment of environmental performance throughout the product life cycle
- Regulatory conformity: compliance with ecodesign and energy labelling requirements
KKDIK and REACH Chemical Compliance
Managing the chemicals in your products is one of the key conditions for sustainability and market access. Under KKDIK and EU REACH, we offer the following services:
- Inventory of the chemicals in your products
- Identification and management of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC)
- Preparation and updating of Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Management of registration and notification processes in the KKS and ECHA systems
Sustainable Packaging and PPWR Compliance
The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (EU) 2025/40 (PPWR), which overhauls packaging rules in the EU, has applied since 12 August 2026. Doruksistem helps you develop environmentally friendly packaging solutions suited to your products, covering recyclable materials, packaging minimisation, reusable systems and biodegradable alternatives, and supports you in complying with PPWR requirements.
Digital Product Passport (DPP)
The Digital Product Passport makes information on a product’s components, materials, supply chain and life cycle digitally accessible. We plan your preparation step by step for the DPP, which will become mandatory for priority product groups under the ESPR. For details, see our Digital Product Passport guide.
- Data collection: product component, material, supply chain and life cycle data
- Data processing: processing and validating data in a format that meets EU requirements
- Passport creation: preparing the product-specific digital passport and integrating it with a data carrier (e.g. a QR code)
- Access management: defining appropriate access levels for suppliers, consumers and competent authorities
UseSafe Digital Product Certification
The UseSafe digital product certification system supports the assessment and documentation of your products’ compliance with the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988 (GPSR), which has applied since 13 December 2024.
- Digital certification: transparent documentation of your products’ compliance with safety requirements
- Consumer access: instant access via QR code to product safety information, test results and conformity documents
- Brand credibility: greater consumer trust and competitiveness through transparency
CBAM Compliance Services
The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism Regulation (EU) 2023/956 (CBAM) covers imports of cement, iron and steel, aluminium, fertilisers, electricity and hydrogen. Following the transitional period from 1 October 2023 to 31 December 2025, the definitive period began on 1 January 2026. Simplification Regulation (EU) 2025/2083 introduced an annual threshold of 50 tonnes; the sale of CBAM certificates for 2026 imports is expected to start in February 2027, and the first annual CBAM declaration is due by 30 September 2027.
Although the CBAM obligation lies with the importer in the EU, the embedded emissions data come from the producer. For Turkish manufacturers exporting to the EU, accurate and traceable emissions data are therefore an important competitive advantage.
- Calculation of embedded emissions and preparation of emissions data to be provided to the importer in the EU
- Collection of supply chain and production data
- Analysis of the financial and operational impact of CBAM on your business
- Monitoring changes to CBAM legislation and adapting your processes accordingly
Climate Law and Emissions Trading System in Türkiye
In Türkiye, Climate Law No. 7552, published in Official Gazette No. 32951 of 9 July 2025, sets the framework for combating climate change in line with the net-zero emissions target. The law provides for the establishment of an Emissions Trading System (ETS) and requires a greenhouse gas emission permit for activities that directly cause greenhouse gas emissions. Monitoring and reporting carbon data is therefore becoming increasingly important for both exports to the EU and national obligations.
