Survey on GB CLP Regulation
The UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is conducting a survey to collect feedback on the GB CLP (Classification, Labelling, and Packaging) Regulation. This survey is directed at manufacturers, importers, downstream users, and distributors within the GB CLP supply chain, offering an opportunity to enhance the regulation in line with international legislative changes.
Purpose and Scope of the Survey
HSE aims to gather operational data and obtain insights into how businesses perceive the effectiveness of the current GB CLP regulation. The survey seeks feedback on various topics, including chemical labeling, re-labeling, pressurized chemicals, non-transport explosives, and the ‘Keep out of reach of children’ pictogram.
Participation and Process
This voluntary survey is open to stakeholders in Great Britain and Northern Ireland and will close on Wednesday, 18th September at 23:59. The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. The feedback provided will help HSE assess the potential impact of future changes to the GB CLP and support impact assessments and consultation efforts. Importantly, the information collected will not be used for regulatory inspection purposes.
The Importance of Feedback
Stakeholder input is crucial for understanding the impact of potential regulatory changes and contributing to the improvement of the GB CLP Regulation. Participants can directly influence the development of future regulatory frameworks through their feedback.
