
ECHA Adds Three New Hazardous Chemicals to the Candidate List
The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has added three new substances of very high concern (SVHC) to the Candidate List, bringing the total to 250 entries as of 25 June 2025.
Newly Added Substances:

Legal Obligations for Companies
Suppliers must inform customers if an article contains SVHC > 0.1% (w/w).
Importers/producers must notify ECHA within six months (via SCIP).
Safety data sheets (SDS) must be updated accordingly.
SVHC-containing products are ineligible for EU Ecolabels.Source
