Mandatory Label Update for Biocidal Products

The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change has issued an important announcement regarding biocidal product labels. Although some customers request products without the statement “Toxic to bees,” the Biocidal Products Regulation mandates this warning on all labels.

Deadline: March 15, 2025

All licensed biocidal products must have updated labels by March 15, 2025. Manufacturers and importers must apply to the Ministry for label approval. Non-compliant products will face legal action during inspections.

What Should Manufacturers and Importers Do?

  • Check product labels to ensure they include the “Toxic to bees” statement.

  • If missing, apply for approval from the Ministry by March 15, 2025.

  • Ensure compliance with regulations and prepare for inspections.
